Both refineries are willing to refine this class of sugar and I telegraphed in this sense on the 15th

instant.

4. A difficulty may, however, occur in

obtaining stocks of raw sugar from Java which is the source both refineries draw their supplies from. Already the prices of raw Java sugar have advanced enormously and it is conceivable that the demand may

exceed the supply.
